We Love SpongeBob-Squarepants!
Nickelodeon's Spongebob Squarepants is the Coolest TV Show!
The cute and happy Spongebob sang his way into our hearts. We've enjoyed the Spongebob television show, videos, music, books, bedding and birthday parties. We wanted to share some of our favorites here! My son took the page photo of one of his zillion Spongebob stuffed characters.
Have fun here - Remember to vote for your favorite Spongebob Squarepants tv show quote, watch music videos, find holiday Sponge Bob books, buy Spongebob gifts, and plan a party with Spongebob games. For some silly fun, dare a family member to see who can remember all the words to the Spongebob theme song.
When my son was younger, we decorated his entire room in a Spongebob theme: blankets, lamps, wall hangings, stuffed toys, pillows and more -- all with the happy yellow Sponge Bob and his character friends. It's amazing how much Spongebob stuff you can find and add to your home decor.
Enjoy searching for the perfect Sponge Bob DVD, book or gift. It's a wonderful way to spread Spongebob's contagious enthusiasm.

Spongebob Fans Unite!
"Are ya ready, kids? Who lives in a pineapple, under the sea?"
If you're a fan, you'll immediately recognize those quotes from the Spongebob Squarepants' theme song. Our family has been fans since it began ten years ago. My son has enjoyed being a Spongebob fan, which included collecting clothing, books, speakers, CD player, sheets, lamps, posters, songs, and movies. One year, we threw him a custom Spongebob Squarepants birthday party.
On this page, I've included our favorite Spongebob TV clips, books, bedding and room decor, gift ideas, videos, and tips to plan your own Spongebob party games.
In case you're new to the characters, "Spongebob Squarepants" is an animated television show, on Nickelodeon, featuring the loveable, sponge, Spongebob; his clueless best friend, Patrick the starfish; his grumpy neighbor Squidward, the squid; his pet snail, Gary; and his landlubber pal, Sandy the squirrel. Plankton is an evil little guy who tries to steal the secret crabby patty recipe from Spongebob's boss, Mr. Krabs, who runs The Krusty Krab restaurant.
Spongebob and his friends live at the bottom of the ocean, in a place called Bikini Bottom. Spongebob is a loving and happy guy, though he usually finds himself trying to undo some clumsy mistake or show his friends the good of the world. It's well written, with fun, twisty tales. On occasion, there's a lesson involved.
Spongebob is young compared to the older, classic, animated shows, but it has a huge fan base. Due to its popularity, Spongebob and characters can be seen on every product imaginable.
Are you ready to explore? In the words of Spongebob, "I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready!"
Spongebob Squarepants Christmas - Spongebob Squarepants DVD
In "Christmas Who", Sandy tells Spongebob all about Christmas and Santa. He's so excited and wants Santa to visit Bikini Bottom. Spongebob encourages his friends to write to Santa. If Santa visits, it'll be Bikini Bottom's first Christmas. If Santa really exists, which Squidward is sure is a scam. Can coral be a good Christmas tree? Will Santa visit Spongebob, Patrick, Squidward and friends? A fun episode with a funny Christmas song that will have you humming each time you start putting up the decorations.

Kids will Love Spongebob Birthday Party Games
We had a Spongebob party for my son, and the kids had a great time! We held the party at a local park, but anywhere with a lot of run around room would work too.
Spongebob Party Games
**Gather the kids in two teams for a "Spongebob Singing Bee" game.
Host starts by singing the Captain's part. Each team sings the main two lines of the song. The team with the most correct lines wins! (We gave prizes at the end, so kids were focused on playing the game rather than winning prizes)
**A Spongebob relay race
Set up (unlit) tiki torches at the beginning at end of the race area. We had four total - two tikis at the place to start, and two tikis to mark the run-around place.
One kid from each team start the race. Give them a plastic spoon with a small, yellow Spongebob (a yellow sponge). Kids race to the tiki and return. They hand the spongebob and spoon to their teammate. First team - without dropping Spongebob - wins!
**Pin the Pants on Spongebob
Decorate a cardboard to look like Spongebob -without the pants.
Cut 'squarepants' out of brown construction paper. Make one for every child.
Play the game like Pin the Tail on the Donkey - Put a scarf on each kid and let them guess where to put Spongebob's 'squarepants'. (Adults stuck scotch tape, double-sided to the back of each pants piece).
Spongebob Squarepants Birthday Party
You can find everything you need to throw your own Spongebob birthday party - invitations, paper settings, treat sacks, Spongebob foil balloon, Spongebob Bingo game, pinata and even a sound Spongebob candle!

A Lesson from Spongebob

Oklahoma State sophomore guard Andrea Riley is accustomed to being sized up and having her skills doubted, especially in a setting like today's NCAA Tournament South Region semifinal against No. 2-seeded LSU at the New Orleans Arena.
But Riley said she learned self-confidence and unshakeable belief from an unlikely source.
SpongeBob Square Pants.
"He's my favorite," said Riley, who averages 23 points per game and has helped the Cowgirls (27-7) go from 0-16 in the Big 12 to the Sweet 16 in just two seasons. "SpongeBob gives me so much joy, especially in his movie."
That's when SpongeBob and Patrick, against all odds, reach Shell City, grab the crown and return to rescue Mr. Krabs.
(Note to adults: You had to be there).
"Some of my teammates say, 'Oh, Andrea, you're such a little kid,' but SpongeBob helped me figure out something important," Riley said. "It doesn't matter how you look or how old you are. You can achieve anything if you put your mind to it."
OSU coach Kurt Budke, who watched Riley put up 45 points (with zero turnovers) against Oklahoma, isn't quarreling.
"Hey, whatever works," Budke said.
